Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau or TCEB is a public organisation established by Royal Decree published in the Royal Gazette on 28th September 2002. TCEB has been in operation since 2004.
TCEB's main objectives are to promote meetings, incentive travel, conventions and exhibitions, known by the acronym 'MICE', and to strongly develop this collective industry in order to make Thailand a regional hub for MICE events. The Bureau's successes since its establishment reflect Thailand's growing stature as a destination of choice for international meetings, incentive travel, conventions and exhibitions.
Hong Kong Electrical Contractors' Association (HKECA)
The Hong Kong Electrical Contractors' Association (HKECA) was incorporated in 1976. We have over 900 members, including electrical & electronic contractors, electrical & electronic products suppliers, and individual members who work in the field. With our vast membership base, we are the organization that can most represent the Electrical Contracting Industry in Hong Kong.
The operation of the Association is managed by the Executive Committee Members, who volunteered their time for the good of the Association. The Executive Committee provides various services and assistance to members, including training and dissemination of the industry's latest news.
HKECA has been working hard to improve the industry technically and professionally. We periodically organize seminars and training courses to update members' skills and knowledge. We also share our experiences and exchanges information with overseas industry members by participating in other local and international trade associations, and sending delegation teams overseas to learn and communicate with electrical contractors from different regions.
Locally, HKECA serves as a bridge between members and various organizations such as legislative authorities, public organizations, academic bodies, and other members of the construction industry. We represent the Electrical industry, pronounce the industry's viewpoints, and strive to protect the industry's interests and rights.
The Hong Kong Screw and Fastener Council was founded in 2003 with the objectives to safeguard the interests of the screw and fastener industry in Hong Kong and to strengthen the co-operation within the industry. It is the first industrial council established under the auspices of the Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong (CMA). The screw and fastener industry has been playing a pivotal role in the manufacturing history of Hong Kong. For many years, companies engaged in the industry worked individually to face the ever-changing challenges in the international market. The establishment of the Council represents the concerted efforts of the industry to voice its needs and to work for its best interests.
Japan Foundry Society was established as core of the casting industry both in name and in reality, to enhance the quality of castings and promote the casting industry, thereby contributing to the development of the Japanese economy and upgrading the livelihood of its people.
To accomplish these objectives, the Society engages in studies and research, human resources development, the promotion of industrial safety and health, environmental conservation measures, training programs, the sponsoring of seminars and lecture and interchange and cooperation with casting-related organizations in the world.
The Singapore Electrical Trades Association (SETA) was founded to secure the complete organisation and unity of all persons doing and /or connected with the electrical trade and to promote industrial, social, and intellectual interests of its members. The Association’s objectives also include assisting its members on matters concerning their work especially in their dealings with local authorities and clients; to promote and protect the mutual interests of members by encouraging their advancement in the practice of electrical engineering work through lectures and technical discussions; and /or to maintain and uphold a high standard of service to the community at large.
The Association is open to all persons doing and /or connected with electrical trade.
